Mark your calendars for the 40th Annual North Georgia Folk Festival on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Sandy Creek Park in Athens, Georgia.

We have a great line up of music, art, food and activities ready for you and are super excited to get our families back together for our annual gathering.
Gate opens 10:30am
Kids Activities 11:00am - 3:00pm
Art Vendors 11:00am - 6:00pm
Music 12:00pm - 9:00pm

Here's what you can look forward to:

Music:
Main Stage: Pam Blanchard and the Sunny Side Up Band, Tonalli Danza Folklorica Mexicana, Kids on the Mountain, Little Mae, Yes Ma'am Family Band featuring Caroline Aiken, Randy Steele and the High Cold Wind, Jim White, Pretty Little Goat, Borderhop Trio
Fire Circle Stage: Ralph Roddenberry, Julia Barfield, Fawney Rig, and an open Irish Session led by the good folks from Fawney Rig.
Food trucks featuring a wide variety of cuisines and desserts, including Aunt Jack's P-Nut Shack, La Michoacana es Natural Ice Cream, Rashe's Cuisine (Jamaican), Jittery Joes (coffee), La Pa on Wheels (Mexican), BSA Troop 1111 Sweet Shop, 4 Elephants (Laotian), Cafe Racer (burgers and fries), and Mama Bird's Granola.

The North Georgia Folk Festival celebrated its 30th year in October, 2014. This video, "A Taste of the 2014 North Georgia Folk Festival" by Neil Rosenbaum, features performances by Norman Blake, Bluebilly Grit, and The Skillet Lickers, along with interviews and memories of past performers now gone.
